Today was the last day of school and Meredith's birthday, two great reasons to celebrate! For the last day of school we had "Spirit Wars". The whole school was broken up into 4 teams and we played all kinds of fun games. The highlight for me was when 5th grade beat 3rd grade, 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade in the annual class tug-o-war competition. They were the champs, until they came up against all of the teachers, then we took them down!! : ) But they were great and beat all the classes one-by-one!
After school was out, a small group of us headed out for a birthday lunch for Mer! We went to Alcove and ate some yummy paninis, salads and burgers. Only Mer and I got dessert, which is the most amazing thing at Alcove, and we got it to go.

Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of Mer's birthday lunch, I'll have to steal some later from her! What a great day to end the school year and celebrate Mer, now bring on summer!!
